Hope College is a liberal arts college located in the tourist town of Holland, Michigan, just a short drive from Lake Michigan. Holland has a population of 34,000, and the beautiful downtown area is full of cafes, restaurants, and boutique shopping. Hope has 3,000 students, and offers over 50 majors with strengths in the Sciences, Engineering, Business, Psychology, and the Performing Arts. Offering a 12:1 student to faculty ratio, Hope provides you with the opportunity to work closely with faculty, in the classroom, labs, and even in the community.
Hope College is a Christian college that is open to students of all faiths. Students choose from 80 clubs and organization, which offer opportunities for volunteer activities and leadership. Performing arts opportunities are available in dance, music, and theatre. Athletics are very strong at Hope College, with competition at the NCAA Division III level, as well as intramural athletic activities throughout the year.
Hope is SAT/ACT optional and offers up to $25,000 in scholarship to qualified international students. International scholarships are awarded at the time of admission. US citizens may qualify for a variety academic awards, while possibly qualifying for need-based aid when filing the FAFSA.
