Kettering University is recognized in the United States as an educational leader in experiential Engineering, Computer and Laboratory Sciences, Math and Business Management. Aspiring Bachelor’s degree students should expect small classes that feature technical curricula and hands-on learning in workshops and laboratories with esteemed faculty. The balance of their time is spent   gaining professional work experience in their fields of study, in paid positions with our 400+ corporate partners. This work experience (2+ years in total) is required of all Kettering undergraduate students.
   

Master’s-level students at Kettering University pursue degrees in   Engineering, Automotive Systems, Management and Data Science. International graduate students frequently take advantage of the generous scholarships, Graduate Assistantships, and paid internships that are available. About 2000 students live in our campus community, either in Thompson Hall or in neighboring apartments and houses. Campus is located near downtown Flint, Michigan, USA, which is home to many shops and restaurants and three other higher education institutions.
