The University of Michigan – Flint is one of the three campuses of the world-renowned University of Michigan system. Students graduating from any of the three campuses (Ann Arbor, Flint, and Dearborn) receive a Michigan degree and all join the same alumni association, which is one of the largest living alumni networks in the world. With a 1:13 faculty to student ratio, UM-Flint offers small classes entirely taught by dedicated professors with a great student support system built in.
Students can take advantage of UM-Flint’s unique 2+2 Preferred Engineering Transfer Program with the College of Engineering at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor in which students spend the first two years in Flint and last two years in Ann Arbor and have a chance to graduate from one of the top 5 Engineering/CS programs in the country. There is a great emphasis on hands-on learning, and plenty of opportunities for internships (many departments like Business, Engineering, and Computer Science provide 100% paid internships) Scholarships available to international students based on GPA and a test score (SAT, ACT, or Gaokao.
